What is Scrips?
Scrip is the opportunity to build up individual scout accounts as well as funds for future trip by buying gift cards.
Proceeds from Scrips
Half of the proceeds will go into individual Scout accounts and the other half will go into the “War Chest” for future trips, after expenses such as shipping cost has been paid.
Proceeds will be transferred once a year to the scout accounts, and that date has been set for April 15th.
HOW TO ORDER SCRIPS?
There are 2 ways of ordering Scrips:
The first is to buy in stock inventory, at this time the in stock cards will be ACME, Giant and WAWA. There is a form to fill out called the “In Stock Order Form” with the buyers name, date, check number, and Scout’s name. If there is no scouts name then it is assumed that you would like all of the proceeds to go into the general trip fund.
The second way of ordering is to fill out the “Scrip Order Form”. Again Name and Scout name is needed as well as address and telephone number.
Orders for non-stock cards will be ordered the first Sunday of the month. During the Holidays there maybe a few extra orders placed. Orders will only be accepted with a completed order form.
