Kisc 2012
Troop 78 will be returning to Switzerland and the Kandersteg International Scout Centre in 2012. The Centre was founded by Baden Powell so that scouts from all over the world have a place to meet. We will be selecting age/skill level appropriate activities for the scouts to experience from hikes to climbs to glaciers and more. Certain to be a highlight will be National Day on August 1st. But for all the activities available, it will be the interaction with scouts from around the world that will create the most rich & lasting memories.
We have some key upcoming dates by which KISC attendees need to take action, and those dates are as follows:
June 15th 2011 – Submit copy of Passport valid through 12/31/2012
Submit Copy of Medical Form
Submit Code of Conduct/Permission/Release of Liability Forms
Fall 2011 - Youth Committees Activity Research
3/12 - Activity Selection
4/12 - Final Payment & Commitments to KISC
7/23/12 to 8/5/12 – Trip
